Virtual Women’s Fiction Summit

In 2026, the Women’s Fiction Writers Association hosted their first virtual summit in June in celebration of Women’s Fiction Day. I conceptualized the original idea in my capacity supporting programs in December 2024. The event took place over 2 days with 10 sessions and was available to members and non-members. The turnout was excellent and the feedback was glowing.

For this event I:

  • Drafted the initial event concept and shared with the board and a litmus test for the Executive Director to sign off.

  • Drafted a Request for Proposals that went live in January 2025.

  • Worked with the team to build a well rounded program with offerings covering craft, business of writing, and the writerly life.

  • Built the registration form and graphics.

  • Worked with the Director of WFWA’s Online Community to create a hub for attendees to use.

  • Crafted, tested, and disseminated communications to participants for before and after.
