New Industrial Policy Implementers Network

While at The Brookings Institution, I was the Senior Engagement Manager for the New Industrial Policy Implementers Network. This network was comprised of 7 organizations representing 7 regions and between them they were either already receiving or had applied for funds from the federal government to fund innovative industrial projects in their regions. These projects included: Semiconductor plants, quantum processor facilities, aerospace, and more. During my time with the project I:

  • Coordinated monthly calls with all 7 partners and my scholar counterparts at Brookings. Prepared agendas, notes, and reminders.

  • Collaborated with 5 of the 7 who hosted local 2-day convenings where all members of the cohort visited and learned about a particular topic from X to X.

    • In this capacity I created registration, all communication flows, secured food and lodging, and finalized the agenda.

  • Created surveys and gathered feedback following all convenings and at the half-way and end point of the project to inform its progress and outcomes.
